' A Letter from the Lord Bolingbroke to the President and Fellows of the Society was read, Giving an Account of Her Majesties Directions to forreign Ministers to promote the Ends of the Institution of the Society. It was Ordered to be read at the next Meeting of the Society, with the thoughts of the Council that the Society should divide themselves into several Committees for carrying on the Affairs of the Society both as to Inquiries for forreign parts and other matters.

Dr Arbuthnot was desired to thank the Secretary of State for the favour he did the Society in presenting their dutiful Thanks to the Queen.

Mr Melarede Envoy of Savoy was proposed to be a Member of the Society, ballotted for, and approved of.

A Bill of Repairs of Mr Falkners House, of three Pounds, six shillings, and four Pence, was Ordered to be paid. '
