' Ordered that Mr Frewin demand and receive of the Lord Abergavenny the fee farm rent of £24 per annum once every year.

Ordered that the three years rent due at Ladyday last from the said fee farm and received by Mr Frewin be paid to Mr Thomas as under Treasurer.

Ordered that Mr Desaguliers be paid £40 for his Service in producing Experiments before the Society for the year last past including Sir Godfrey Copley's Experiments.

Coll. Francis Nicholson going Governour to South Carolina was pleased to declare that he would allow Mr Catesby, recommended to him as a very proper person to observe the Rarities of that Country, for the uses and purposes of the Society, the Pension of £20 per annum during his Government there and at the same time to give him £10 by way of Advance for the first half years payment and so for the future half a years pay before hand.

Ordered that the Two Secretaries be each allowed the summe of £50 for the Service of the year last past.

Ordered that a Purchase be looked for, for to lay out Mr Keck's Legacy of £500 and that in the mean time when paid in, it be vested in Bank bonds carrying £5 per cent Interest or else East India Bonds. '
