' The President appointed Mr Folkes his Deputy or Vice President who was accordingly Sworn and took the following Oath;
I Martin Folkes do Promise to deal faithfully and Truly in all things belonging to the Trust committed to me as Vice President of the Royal Society of London for Improving Natural Knowledge During my Employment in that Capacity so help me God.

Mr Pound and Mr Hadley were Sworn on the Council.

Sir John Evelyn, Mr White were balloted and approved for candidates.

Dr Caleb Coatesworth was Sworn of the Council.

Ordered that the Original Papers brought before the Society be pasted into a Book of Guards. '
