' Collonel Armstrong and Phillips Glover Esqe. were put to the Ballot and approved as Candidates for Election.

A Certificate in favour of Mr Moses Williams was Read.

The President acquainted the Council that Mr Zollman who had been recommended by Mr Walpole for a Clerk to the Society but not being Qualified to hold that post, upon Account of his Not being Naturalised, he recommended it to the consideration of the Council whether the said Person might not be of good Service to the Society through his skill in many Languages to Serve them in the Capacity of an Assistant to the Secretary in Managing a Foreign Correspondence.

Whereupon Mr Zollman being put up by Ballot for the Said Place he was Accordingly Chosen. '
