' Mr Hauksbee was proposed to be Chosen Housekeeper, was ballotted for and Elected, and was ordered to take care of the Library and Repository, and to provide a Person to Officiate as Porter, for which he is to Receive the Same Allowance as was given to Mr Thomas.

Ordered that a Committee be appointed to inspect the State of the Library's and Repository which is to consist of the Gentlemen present at this Council Mr Williams and any other Members of the Society that shall be willing to assist them.

Ordered that fresh Notice be given to the Cheese Monger, who is in possession of the Cellar under the Repository, to Remove at Michaelmas next, or as soon as his Lease is expired. '
