' Mr Frewen informed the Council of some Enquiries he had made towards taking a proper Course to recover the Arrears of the fee farm rent due from the Lord Abergavenny's Estate and after some debate Sir Hans Sloane undertook to Speak to an Acquaintance of his Lordship and Endeavour to recover those Arrears if possible in an Amicable way.

The Council being informed that the Cheese-monger who rented the Cellar under the Repository was not yet removed notwithstanding the warning which had been formerly given him he was called In and Informed that the Council expected he would remove his Goods and quitt the Cellar before Christmas Day 1723 which Warning he promised to comply with.

Dr Desaguliers was called in and Ordered to lay before the Council an Account of what Experiments he had performed or Contrived for the Society this last year, in order to make him a Suitable recompence for his Service. '
