' A Committee of five of the Council was appointed for Auditing the Treasureres Accounts against St Andrews day viz.
The President, one of the Secretaries, Dr Harwood, Dr Taylor, and Mr Brown

Mr Hauksbee laid before the Council the Several workmans Bills for repairing the House in Crane Court now in Possession of Mr Robert Coningsby the Surgeon which were allowed and it was Ordered that the Treasurer pay the said Workmens bills Amounting in all to the Sum of £52-2-5

Other Workmens bills for Work done to the Societys own house were referred to Mr Folkes to be examined in order to be Allowed.

Sir Hans Sloane informed the Council that it was necessary for him to have the Probat of Mr Astons Will to impower him to receive the Money due from the Executors of the late Queen Ann and for which he has been for Some time Solliciting the Treasury for the Service of the Society whereupon It was ordered that Search be made for the Said Probatt and that it be delivered to Sir Hans Sloane if it can be found, or that another may be procured for him. '
