' Ordered
That the said Treasurer pay Mr Hunts Bill being £20 for half a years Salary due at Christmas
That the Treasurer pay Mr Chiswell Printer to the Society ten pounds upon Account, His Bill being not examined.

Mr Hill had such a Catalogue of such Books as the Dean of Canterbury was willing to give the Society if they deliver up his Bond.

Ordered That it be left to Mr Hill to get what books he can of Dr Tillotson, and then that he deliver up his Bond, but keep the Doctors name still in the list.

Ordered. That the Treasurer pay Mr Aston forty pounds as a Present, for his Services done the Society.

A Proposall being made by Mr Lister That if the Councell woudl order a Press or 2 to be made after the fashion of those which are already in the Musaeum, that it may suite them ; with Drawings as he should give his pains in reducing the Minerals into such Order and method, as might facilitate the understanding them, and also preserve them that they might be readi9ly had at any time for Inspection and other uses that may happen.

Ordered. That Mr Hunt should get one or more Presses according to the directions given him by Mr Lister.

Dr GRew acquainted the Councell, that he had almost finished an Index to the Repository, for which he was thankt and desired to bring it to the president.

He was desired to give all help and Assistance to Mr Lister in disposing the Minerals

Some Proposals having been read the last Councill and referred to the next, were now read again, and concluded off in the following manner.

1. That a Duplicate be transcribed of the Register Books and Journall books, and that it be kept distinct from them, for the more Security.
2. That a very particular Index be made of the Register, Journall and Letter books, And that in the Said Index be noted with an Asterism what hath already been publisht in the Transactions.

The Method the Index is to be in, to be further considered.

Dr Aglionby and Mr Hally proposed to make the Index.
3. The Index to be Printed if teh Councill think fit.
4. That no Mechanical Experiment be brought in by the Curator, without a finisht designe upon paper as used formerly to be done, well also and circumstantially ex0laind in writing, which shall be left with one of the Secretarys to be entred in the Register.
5. That whatsoever Experiment is ordered by the Society to be tryed, the order thereof being first drawn up, read, and approved of by the Society, Shall be given to the Curator in writing, The Curator also shall give an Account in writing of the Event whatsoever it be, and deliver that Paper to the Secretary, subscribing his Name to it. '
