' Dr Desaguilliers pursuant to an Order of last Council gave in an Account of the Several Experiments which he performed before the Society in the year 1724 Whereupon it was
Ordered That the Treasurer pay to Dr Desaguillilers the Sum of thirty pounds in consideration of his Service for the Year ending on St Andrews day 1724

Several Workmens bill for Work done to the Societys House being Examined were Allowed viz.
A plumbers bill for Work done in the Year 1716 Amounting to £1-6-2 1/4 [One pound six shillings and two pence farthing]

The following Bills for Work done in 1724 Amounting to the Sum of £43 - 11 -7 1/2 [Forty three pounds eleven shillings and seven and a half pence]
The Smith £5 - 13 - 5
Painter £12 - 16 - 6
Bricklayer £0 - 17 - 4
Plumber £0 - 10 - 9
Bricklayer for the Repository £10 - 9 - 8
Carpenter £6 - 2 - 3 1/2
Glasier £5 - 8 - 8
Gardiner £1 - 13 - 0

Ordered that the Treasurer pay the Said Sums of £1 - 6 2 1/4 and £43 - 11 - 7 1/2 to the Several Workmen as above Mentioned

Mr Taylor White was put to the Ballott and approved for a Candidate. '
