' The following Gentlemen were put to the Ballot and approved as Candidates Viz Dr Lobb, Daniel Wray Esqr. and Mr Klein.

Several Sums of Money for Gratuities and for Bills of Expences were put to the Ballot and agreed to.

And thereupon Ordered That Each Secretary be paid the Sum of thirty pounds as a Gratuity for the Extraordinary trouble in bringing up the Letter Books etc of the Society to the present Time.

Ordered that Dr Desaguilliers be paid the Sum of twenty pounds in reccompence of his Extraordinary Charge in Making his Experiments.

Ordered that Dr Schuchzer be paid the Sum of Twenty five pounds as a Gratuity for Obliging the Society from time to time with the Translation of all the foreign papers in the absence of Mr Zollman.

Ordered that Mr Theobald be paid the Sum of £14..17..7 being the Total of three bills for money laid out in Accomodations for the meeting Room upon the New alterations made in pursuance of an Order of the Council.

Ordered That Mr Hauksbee's bill of £309..10..4 for Transcribing the Duplicated Copies of the Journals etc be paid after they Shall be examined by the Secretaries and the bill found to be charged according to the Statutes. '
