'The Solicitor Mr Frewin delivered a form of Writing being the Discharge of Acquittance of the Royal Society to Mrs Ashley Executrix to the will of the late Treasurer Mr Pitfeild which being read and approved was Signed by the Members present.

The Forme or Draught of a declaration of Trust from the presnt Treasurer was also read and approved.

It was represented to Mr Hauksbee That he was accountable for £100 - Imprest to him from the late Treasurer, and likewise for all the Contribution and Admission Money and all the Rents received by him Since the last Audit of the late Treasurers Accompts, which he Acknowledging, he was Ordered to State his Accompt with the present Treasurer as Soon as it could be done conveniently.

Ordered That Mr Gale the Present Treasurer be impowered to purchase at his discretion South Sea Bonds, with Such money as he may at any Time have in his hands more than is Sufficient to defray the Current Expences. '
