' Simon Dogge Esqr. and Thomas Anson Esqr. were Severally put to the Ballot and approved as Candidates for Election.

Mr Graham the Watchmaker's bill Amounting to £32..0..0 was delivered being the charges he was at in making the Clock Erected in the Meeting Room; and at the Same Time the Council was informed That he had given the Society the cost of his own Workmanship in the Bill Whereupon after Ballot It was Ordered That the Treasurer pay to Mr Graham the Sum of Thirty Two pounds in full of the Said Bill.

And That Thanks be returned to Mr Graham for his present to the Society.

A Bill from Mr Roberts the Printer amounting to £10..3..5 for printing Lists and Orders of Council from November 21, 1729 to the 10th of March 1730 was delivered and Balloted.

Ordered That the Treasurer pay to Mr J Roberts the Sum of £10..3..5 in full of the Said Bill.

Ordered that Mr Hauksbee prepare a List of Members in Arrear against the next meeting of the Council, distinguishing therein the Defaulters who have not given Bonds, from those who have.

Ordered That he also make out a List of Such Members in Arrear to whom the Circulatory Letter has not been yet Sent, either upon Account of their being beyond Sea, or at a great distance from London, or that their places of aboad is not known. And likewise a List of Such in Arrear who have undoubtedly received the Said Letter,

Ordered That the Names of Such Members who were exempted from future Contribution, by having complied with the Terms proposed i the Resolutions of the Council on the 3rd of February Shall be entered in the Council Book.

Resolved That the Resolution made on the 3rd of February of proceeding against Members in Arrear who Shall not have complied with the Terms proposed Shall be put in Execution with the utmost Vigour.

Ordered That the Royal Societies Case in repect of Members in Arrear be drawn up against the Next Council in order to be laid before the Attorney General for his opinion and direction.

The Report of the Committee for inspecting the Repository dated April the 30 as also the report dated May 7, 1730 as they are both hereunto Annext were Read, And the proposals therein made were agreed to. '
