' The Treasurer Reported, That Governour Mathews who is lately returned from abroad, had made an offer to discharge his Arrears, on condition he might be admitted to partake of the benefit of the Orders of Council on the 3rd of February 1729 The Terms of which he Said he never was acquainted with before he returned to England. Which request was granted. And it was Ordered That Governour Mathews be discharged from his Arrears, and future Contributions, and have liberty to take up his Bond on the Payment of the Sum of £25.

A Question was put whether Anthony Hammond Esq Shall be readmitted into the List upon the payment of the Sum of ten Guineas and giving Bond as usual for his future payments, which was agreed in the Affirmative.

A Letter from Owen Brigstoke Esq was read desiring that part of his Arrears be remitted in consideration of his presents to the Society of Presses and Rarities.

Whereupon a Question being put whether Owen Brigstoke Esq Shall be released from Arrears and future Contributions and have liberty to take up his Bond upon payment of the Sum of Ten Guineas. The Same was carried in the Affirmative.

The Sum of £50 was put to the Ballot and Ordered to be paid to Mr Machin for the Services of the last year.

The Sum of £50 was put to the Ballot and Ordered to be paid to Dr Mortimer for the Service fo the last year.

Ordered That the Sum of £25 be paid to Mr Hauksbee for his half years Salary due October 11, 1731.

The Bookbinders Bill for the Sum of £16..10..00 was put to the Ballot and Ordered to be paid.

The Sum of £30 was put to the Ballot and Ordered to be paid to Mr Zollman being £10 over and above his Salary in consideration of his extraordinary Service for the last Year.

Ordered That Mr Zollman deliver every Year during his Employment an Account of Such Letters and Papers as are written or Translated by him distinguishing those for Extraordinary Service from those in his Ordinary Buisiness to promote a foreign Correspondence and Noting the Number of pages in Each.

The Report of the Committee for Examining the State of the Repository and Libraries as it is hereunto annext was read.

Ordered That all the Books of the Cannon Law in the Norfolk Library which are out of repair be rebound.

Ordered That Mr Holloway be discharged upon payment of the Sum of Ten Guineas.
