' Dr Harwood took the Oath for the Council

Signor Beccari, Granville Wheler Esqr. Mr Weichman, John Daniel Schoepflin, Monsieur Maupertuy, Mr Senex Ericus Burman, Dr Cromwell Mortimer and Mr Van Royen were Severally put to the Ballot and approved.

Ordered That the two Secretarys examin the deficiencies of the Letter Books, and Register Books, and give proper directions to have them brought up and compleated from the Original Papers to the present time.

Ordered That the Secretaries Examin the State of the Arundelian Library and give directions for Binding Such Books as Stand in need thereof.

Ordered that the Secretaries take care to have the Duplicate Journals composed with the Originals.

Ordered That Mr Hugens's three large Telescope Glasses with their Furniture and also Mr Lewenhoeks Microscopes etc be reposited under a new Lock in the Closet in the Council Room

Ordered That Mr Hauksbee's bill for Writing from April 22 to November 30th 1727 and for Salary due April 11, 1728 amounting to the Sum of £55..1..6 be paid

Ordered That Mr Hauksbee's bill of May 9th 1738 amounting to the Sum of £5..4..4 be paid. '
