Letter from William Wyon stating that he had received instructions from Sir Henry Wheatley to strike two Royal Medals for each of the years 1838-1840. Letter from William Shuckard, 18 November 1840, to John William Lubbock, text of an extract entered into the minutes: the Catalogue of Letters is complete, with a short preface; all presents of books received since his appointment have been kept and can be entered into the Library Catalogue, possibly by the Anniversary Meeting.
