Smith, First Lord of the Treasury, 28 April 1888, full text entered into the minutes: applying for support in printing a supplement to the Catalogue of Scientific Papers, with profits accruing to the Treasury. Sir W. Thomson and Professort J. C. Adams to be additional delegates to the anniversary celebrations at the University of Bologna. Report of the Mountain Observatory Committee recommending the acceptance of Dr. Main's offer of a telescope and applying to Council for £120 from the Donation Fund for completing, transporting and erecting it; approved by Council.
