Among matters discussed or noted: minutes of the last meeting read and approved. Publication of the Challenger Report Zoology, vols. 23-25. £50 from the Scientific Relief Fund to be placed with Francis Galton for an applicant. £30 placed with Dr. Woodward for the same purpose. Report of the Government Grant Administration Committee, with regulations drawn up, discussed and approved: entered as full text into the minutes and the Secretaries asked to communicate these to the Treasury. Secretaries asked what arrangements might be made to inform applicants as to what Grant apparatus is available. Draft statutes on Corresponding Members discussed and withdrawn. Leave granted to Professor Seeley to copy a paper. Estimates from Dent and Company for timepieces accepted. Treasurer authorised to spend £60 on cleaning paintings during the recess.
