TitleCorrespondence between Sir John W Cornforth and George Popjak
Date1963 - 2000
DescriptionGeorge Popjak was a long term collaborator of Sir John Cornforth's and the two ran the Shell Milstead laboratory together. Although there is limited correspondence between the two in this file dating from that time, there is some from after Popjak's move to the USA. Inevitably there will be crossover with other files in this collection as the two worked closely together. The file includes copies of papers, handwritten experimental notes and correspondence on behalf of both Cornforth and Popjak with external contacts. Also in this file is correspondence with Muhammad Akhtar, as he wrote Popjak's biographical memoir on behalf of the Royal Society.
