DescriptionLetters from listeners of the 1980 BBC Radio 4 programme 'A Touch of the Vapours', where the possibility of arsenic in Napoleon's wallpaper was first raised. Includes letters from listeners who claimed to own samples of Napoleon's wallpaper, and a large sample of the letters exchanged with Kenneth Ledingham, the Glaswegian forensic scientist who worked with Jones on the analysis of these and on the writing of 'Arsenic in Napoleon's Wallpapaper' [Nature]. Also contains a small number of copies of Jones's replies.
