Citation | Thaddeus Joseph Count de Burzynski, Castellan of Smolensko, Senator of the Kingdom of Poland, and late great Justiciary in the Dutchy [sic] of Lithuania, Knight of the Order of St Stanislaus in Poland, and of St Alexander of Neva in Russia &c.. a Nobleman no less distinguished by his learning than by his titles Author of two Latin Dissertations, viz 1 De Mutuis Judicis erga Partes, et Particum erga Judices Obligationibus; et 2 De Obligationibus Supremi Magistratus; and now engaged in the composition of an History of Poland his Country, which he intends soon to publish, being actually residing in England, and desirous of becoming a Member of the Royal Society, upon the inland List, is recommended by us upon our personal knowledge of his merit, as highly worthy of this distinction |
