study of 272,000 cases of sickness;
1868 ; on Vaccination, and its alleged dangers;
1871 ; a local Outbreak of Enteric Fever traced to a local Distribution of Milk;
1871-88 ; Reports to the Local Government Board, year by year, on particular inquiries, local, or
more or less general. Of the latter, the following may be named:
1876-8 ; the Effluvium-Nuisances which arise in various manufacturing and other branches
of industry, studied as to their Effects on the Public Health, and as to their
Preventability ; (United Kingdom)
1873, 1880-1, and 1888 ; various Studies of Outbreaks of Disease referable to Articles of
Food;
1885-6 , Survey of England as to the local preparations against Cholera;
1882-8 , Studies of the Causation of Epidemic Infantine Diarrhoea in England and Wales
