Has made valuable additions to our knowledge inter alia of the histogenesis of liver changes and functional derangements induced by various ligation procedures, of the effect of thyroid feeding on the islets of Langerhans, and of the phenomena of induced inflammation in annelids. Profound knowledge, clarity of exposition, and command of operative technique are displayed in his published work.
