CitationMr Jonathan Fawconer Lapidary of Bartholomew Close, is desirous of being a Fellow of this Society. He is very skillfull in the knowledge of Precious Stones, and all other Fossils, having great Numbers Sent him from the most distant Countries, which he manufactures with the greatest Art & Curiosity. he is likewise well versed in most branches of Mathematicks, and more particularly in Mechanicks, having invented an Engin, of very great Service to him in his Profession. As We believe he will be a usefull Member he is recommended by us
