Several of whose papers containing observations in divers parts of Natural History, have lately been laid before this Royal Society, earnestly desiring the honour of becoming a fellow of the Same: We do accordingly propose him, and knowing by the correspondence we have had with him, that he is a Gentleman well skilled in Philosophical Learning, a person of great Curiosity; and a most diligent and zealous promoter of Natural knowledge, We do hereby recommend him as well deserving the Honour he requests, and qualified to be a valuable and usefull member of our body.
