A Gentn of great Learning & Skill in all branches of his own Profession as particularly appears from Several usefull & curious peices publisht by him, Several of which he has presented to this Society; One greatly Zealous in promoting all kinds of usefull knowledge, having himself establisht and had the direction of a Philosophical Society at Nurenberg, whose communications and collections he has continued to publish for Several years past under the Title of 'Commercium Litterarium', a Set of which work he has also presented to our Library, being desirous of the Honour of becoming a fellow of the RS. We whose Names are underwrtten do recommend him as a person greatly deserving that Title and as one who will be a usefull member of the Same
