Desiring to offer himself a Candidate for election into this Royal Society: We do accordingly hereby propose him, and upon our personal acquaintance recommend him as a Gentleman of distinction and merit, well versed in Philosophical and Natural knowledge, and well qualified to be a usefull member of our Society, and to promote those ends for which the Same was instituted.
