Being very desirous of the Honour of becoming a Fellow of this Royal Society: We do accordingly propose him a Candidate for election into the Same, and hereby recommend him as a Gentleman of distinguished merit and eminent Learning, as an excellent Astronomer, an able Geometrician, well versed in most parts of Philosophical and Natural knowledge, and truly qualified to be a usefull and a valuable member of our Body.
