This Gentleman, who has Published Several curious Mathematical Books as his 'Traite de Dynamique' a Paris 4to 1743, his 'Systeme de Mecanique' &c being a very ingenious person, desiring the honour of becoming a member of the Royal Society, is recommended in a Letter from Mr Maupertuis President of the Berlin Society to Dr Mortimer as one highly deserving that honour, wherefore we concur in the Same and propose him a Candidate.
