CitationMonsieur Boyer an Eminent Physician of Paris, and one of those who was Sent by the king to give his advice in the time of the great Plague at Marseills, desiring the honour of being elected into this Royal Society, We do hereby propose him, and upon the Credit of a Certificate from two of our worthy Bretheren Bernard de Jussieu & Le Monnier le june of the Royal Academy of Sciences, as well as upon Several other Strong recommendations, present him as a Gentleman of merit and learning well deserving a place in a Society founded for the improvement of Natural & philosophical knowledge.
