CitationMonsr Alexander Saverien of the Royal Society of Lyons, known by Several mathematical books of use in navigation, Desiring to become a member of this Royal Society, to whose Judgement he has submitted his works, has requested us to give him a testimonial of the esteem we have for his merit, and the reputation he has acquired in mathematical knowledge, which we thought we could not in justice refuse him, in witness whereof we have signed this present certificate at paris this 4th of April 1751.
