CitationMr John James Wetstein Professor in Philosophy at Amsterdam, and member of R Academy of Sciences at Berlin, being very desirous of the honour of being receiv'd a member of the Royal Society in London; we cannot but recomend him to it as a person duely qualified for the same, well versed in the Philosophical as well other branches of learning; and able to be an useful member of that Society. In witness whereof we have put our hands to these Presents.
We ye underwritten concure in the above Recomendation (sic) upon our knowledge of the Caracter, abilities and Writings of the Learned Professor
