Citation | Capt Arthur Conolly of the Bengal Cavalry Service, author of a Journey overland from England through Russia, Persia and Affganistan [sic] to the north of India, for which he received a medal from the Geographical Society of Paris, and being well versed in Geographical knowledge, We whose names are underneath subscribed do, of our personal knowledge recommend him as a fit person to become a Fellow of this Society and likely to prove a valuable and useful member |
