Author of various papers in the Trans of the Inst of Engineers of Scotland, the Trans of the Philosophical Society of Glasgow, the Reports of the British Association, and the Trans of Institution of Naval Architects; also one of the joint Authors of a treatise entitled "Shipbuilding, theoretical & practical", 1864-66.
