On "An apparatus for the measurement of low pressures of gas" published in the Journal of the Physical Society. And also, in conjunction with Lieut Clarke, on "some figures exhibiting the motion of vibrating bodies and on a new method for determining the speed of machines" published in the Proceedings of the Royal Society, and "on the determination of the rate of vibration of tuning forks", to be printed in the Transactions of the Royal Society. Eminent as a chemist.
