Has done much bibliographical work, eg, lists of new mineral names; crystallography and mineralogy in 'Tables annuelles de constantes'; articles in the 'Encyclopaedia Britannica,' and Thorpe's 'Dictionary of Applied Chemistry.' Books: 'The World's Minerals,' Bauer's 'Precious Stones,' and Brauns's 'Mineral Kingdom.'
