Among the topics he has illuminated are liquid-metal flow under magnetic fields in ducts and induction furnaces, aerodynamic oscillation of suspended cables, dispersion of pollutants from sources in the atmospheric boundary layer, turbulence and pressure fluctuations in flow past bluff bodies, buildings and hills, effect of wind on people, and effects of stratification on air flow over hills and on the dispersion of pollutants.
