CitationDr. Connie Eaves has contributed to our seminal knowledge of the murine and human hematopoietic systems. Notably, she identified two cell populations contributing to the antibody response that were later characterized as B and T cells and went on to identify many cell populations within the hematopoietic system. She applied her expertise in stem cell isolation to the mammary gland and ultimately isolated both murine and human mammary stem cells.
