Citation | Susan’s novel application of biophysical approaches has contributed significantly to our understanding of the ways in which an invading pathogen interacts with its host. Her structural studies have revealed details of how human pathogens such as Meningococcus and Shigella evade innate immunity and manipulate cells to promote infection.
