Included are letters of praise for expedition leader David Dalgliesh from the Royal Society to Lord Mountbatten of Burma, and letters between expedition leader David Dalgliesh and D C Martin of the Royal Society regarding the return of Dalgliesh to London.

Also included is a contract outlining the Dalgliesh's duties through his leadership of the party.
