TitleNorth Borneo Expeditions papers
Date1960s
DescriptionThere were two expeditions organised by the Royal Society to North Borneo, and more specifically Kinabalu, during the 1960s. The expeditions were largely concerned with the possibility of establishing a National Park to combat threats to the natural habitat, as well as increasing knowledge of the botany, zoology and soils of the area. The expeditions were both governed by the same Royal Society Committee and included many of the same expedition personnel, including expedition leader Professor E J H Corner, FRS.

Films from the Borneo expedition can be found under reference number AV/3/14.
