This section includes lengthy correpondence with Prof Max Born (which overlaps with correspondence in FS/5/2) and also with Heinz and Fritz London. Also included is material on Simon's demagnetization research at the Magnet Laboratory at Bellevue, Paris, 1935-1938.

The original order of the papers in FS/5/1/3 and FS/5/1/4 have been mantained.
