DescriptionThree hand-written notes from Paul Ehrlich to Henry Dale. The notes are in German, with typed translations into English.

1. Dated 17 February (1903). Translation 'Dear Dr. Dale, Dear colleague, Are there sufficient frogs? How are your experiments going on?'

2. Dated 31 January (1904). Translation 'Dear Dr. Dale, The alteration of the phrenium is very interesting. Please have Dr. Morgenroth make another series of animals for you, in order to follow up the alteration from the very first beginning and its progress by yourself. Please also to make always the neutral red control. It would also be good to follow up sections (osmium). Perhaps you could also see if straining one leg would locally accelerate the devlopment of the condition'.

3. Dated 11 February (1904). Translation 'Dear Dr.. Dale, How are your experiments going on? E'.
