DescriptionSir Robert Moray had occasion to acquaint his Majesty with the Duke of Florence's Letter to the Society, and had the Kings consent to return an answer.

Voted that Sir Paul Neile go on with employing the man to make glasses for perspectives.

Voted that Dr Goddard be asked to do his best to try the weight of bodies in water and aire.

A book was presented to this Society by Colonel Tuke from a Society at Paris.

Colonel Tuke added to the Committee for Foreign Correspondence.

Voted that the Committee returns speedily an answer and thanks to the Academy at Paris.

Mr Boyle presented the Society with his engine.

Dr Baynes, Dr Finch, Mr Lord Brouncker, Mr Boyle, Dr Wilkins, Dr Ward, Dr Wallis, Dr Merret, Mr Oldenburg, Mr Evelyn, Mr Waller, Mr Henshaw, nominated a Committee for a Library, and for the examining of the generation of Insects.

Sir Gilbert Talbot proposed as a Candidate.

Dr Charleton and Mr Aleyn admitted into the Society.

Mr Pope proposed as a Candidate.

Lord Sunderland and Colonel Tuke subscribed their names.

Resolved to state the number of the Society the next day.

Voted that from hence forward every member as soon as he is admitted is to pay, besides 20s in advance, his weekly money from the time of his admission.
