DescriptionMr Boyle presentd the Society with the Booke hee sett forth in print, since the order was made, that a Booke set forthe by any Member of the Company be putt into the Society's Library: and thancks return'd to him for this kindnesse.

Ordered that the Experiment made by Mr Croone with a Blader and water in it, bee farther prosecuted. Against next day, and the accountt brought in writing.

Sir Cyrill Wyche, and Dr Jasper Needham admitted into the Society.

Dr Pockley propsed as a Candidate by Dr Wilkins.

Mr Oldenburg read a part of a Letter from Mr Barry concerning the making of incombustible Wood.

Ordered that the History of the Island Hirta be Registered.

Mr Croone tried the experiment of salt of Cabbadge, and it succeeded not according to report, that it would make wine insipid: onely it much mortifyied the tast, and makes it a mixture of vinous and Lixivious; it is supposed all lixiviate Salts would do the same.
