Voted that the Petition of Sir Robert Moray read to this Company be deliverd to the King in the Society's Name.

The Experiment of Spirit of wine and a wax - candle end was made, whose flame was not orbicular, as it is reported, nor burned round, but after a while extinguished the candle, and the spirit continued burning.

The Solutions of severall Salts to be try'd, in one liquour.

Mr Boyle brought in his account in writing of the Experiment hee made of the compression of aire with quicksilver in a crooked glasse tube: and orderd to be Registerd.

My Lord Brouncker intreated to try the Accelleration of falling bodyes by pullies or other wise

Dr Henshaw intreated to try to sinke a glasse in Dr Goddards Engine for immersion.

Dr Wilkins thought hee could make appeare, that the Bladder of a fish did not contribute to its swimming.

Sir Robert Moray intreated to try whether the same weight that will sinke a board edgewise will sink it flat wise
