Salt of Tartar, Vitriol, common Salt, Saltpeter, and Alum, to bee dissolved in water, and is to Observe whether they increase in bulk.

Mr Grethericks try'd what hee could do weth the compression of water: but being not fitted then, did not succeed.

Dr Needham proposed the Indian Vernish

That Dr Merret and Sir William Petty be desired to bring in their account of Dying.

Dr Whistler promised to being in his account of Springs.

Sir Robert Moray acquainted the Society, that hee and Sir Paul Neile kiss'd the Kings hands in the Company's Name, and is intreated by them to returne most humble thancks to his Majesty for the Reference hee was pleased to graunt of their Petition : and to this favour and honour hee was pleased to offere of him selfe to bee enter'd one of the Society.
