Description of an experiment, where a bolt head with a long and small neck 'being fitted to 8 inches higher that the boule, and them nip't up and put in a shellett of water a little warm'd; the water in the neck of the bolt head ascended 10 inches, and left 13 with compressed aire above, and was not try'd farther, least the glasse should burst'.

Dr Clarke asked to bring in his account of the late dissection he made of a dog.

Mr Winthrop proposed as a Candidate by Mr Brereton.

Ordered that this day fortnight be the Society's meeting day : and the Experiment for hearing be provided then.

Mr Ball brought in his account of the Quicksilver Experiment. Ordered it to be registered
