| Description | ' Dr Wallis his written discourse about the Experiment of the last day, was brought in ; but because the understanding thereof did much depend upon the Schemes annexed to it, the reading thereof was deffer'd till next day, and the Amanuensis commanded to drawe the said chemes in great upon a large paper for every one to looke upon with convenience.
Sir Robert Moray presented to the Society two Manuscripts, composed by two Gentlemen form Scotland: the one treating of Naturall Philosophy, written by Mr Sinclair; the other calld Optica Britannica, written by Mr Gregory.
The former was orderd to be perus'd and Consider'd by My Lord Brouncker, Sir Robert Moray, Mr Boyle, and Dr Goddard : the latter by Dr Whistler, Dr Pope, and Mr Croone.
Orderd that Mr Hill and Mr Croone bring in an account of the Tenacity of Bodies and of Galileo and Mersennus.
Orderd that Mr Palmer speak to the Artist Mr Gregory about the new way of tinging Stuffs.
Ordered that a Copy of the Experiments, sent by Mr Croone to Dr PAower, should bee given to Mr Sinclar, and hee desired to make them in Scotland, about weighing things in great depths under ground etc.
Mr Boyle was desired to prosecute the Experiments about the Velocity of sounds, by great guns, to bee procured by Sir Robert Moray, for that purpose.
Dr Goddard, Dr Charleton and Mr Croone were desired to Make Experiments about Echoes.
Dr Charleton desired toinquire of Dr Scarburgh concerning the account of Sounds, he was formerly orderd by the Society to bring in , whether the Society may expect it from him.

Mr Boyle was desired to remember the prosecuting of his Experiments concerning colours and their various productions by mixtures.

Mr Evelyn desired to speake to Colonel Blunt concerning his Observations about the mensuration of wayes.
Mr Oldenburg was desired to peruse Ricciolo concerning the mensuration of the Earth ; and to compare what hee hath said of the severall wayes thereof in his Almagestum with what hee hath said of the same in his Geogrpahia and Hydrographia.
Mr Boyle desired to bring his Experinments about the Duck in his Pneumaticall Engine against next Day. '
