' Roger Baldwin MA and Mr Le Sue, two Gentlemen formerly proposed according to the statute, were put to the Ballot, and elected Fellows of this Society.
A certificate recommending Richard Wilbraham Bootle, of Ormond Street, Esq. for election into this Society dated London 11 December 1760, and signed William Sotheby, William Watson, Samuel Mead, Thomas Birch, James Burrow, Peter Davall, Willoughby and Charles Morton, was read, and ordered to be ut up in the publick meeting room. '
Gifts; 1. Mr Banzano, Fellow of the Royal Academy of History of Madrid, and of the Academies of Seville and Barcelona, and also Preceptor in the Family of his Excellency the present Embassador from Spain, presented to the Society a book 'De Hispanorum Literatura, which he had composed and printed at Turin in 1758. 2. Read letter to Dr Parsons FRS from William Bromfield Esq Surgeon, dated at Conduit Street on 11 December 1760, with his translation of a Dissertation concerning the Rickets, communicated from Mr Le Sue of Paris, Surgeon. [Translation listed in minutes]
President presented at the same time from Mr Bromfield a coloured Print, engraved by the said Mr Le Sue, of his dissection of the Body of a Child, in which, by a very extraordinary 'lusus naturae, the viscera of the Thorax and Abdomen were inverted from the right side to the left, a vice versa.
