Gift received of two pamphlets entitled "Institutiones chymicae Theses distributae; Thesis prima et secunda" printed at Douay 1761 from John Baptist Bernard FRS via Dr Parsons; and a translation of a letter to Dr Parsons from Dr Bernard also read.

Communications;
1. Read paper addressed to the Society and signed Hieronymous de la Lande, academiae regiae Scientarum Parisinae Socius, entitled "De parallaxi Solis determinanda per observationies Toboliae factas, die sexto Junii AD 1761" and communicted from Mr Gale Morris [Account given in detail]
2. Read paper entitled "Extract from a letter from Mr John Bertram of Philadelphia, to Mr Franklyn in London, dated 12 November 1757" concerning an aurora borealis at Philadelphia. [Letter content summarised]
3. Read part of a letter addressed to the Reverend Dr Birch FRS of 17 December 1761 at Shefford and signed Richard Faster together with remarks thereon by Mr Peter Collinson FRS. concerning swallows. [Account provided in detail].
4. ' Dr Stukely FRS exhibited to the Society drawings, he had made of certain British antiquities, lately dug up in the isle of Ely: and thanks were returned for the communication. '
